My beauty and her pet...Sometimes I notice that he humors her. Most of the time he is a peer. I feel blessed, I am, they get along very well I would say. They are completely relational, be that playing together or fighting with each other. It is impossible for them to ignore the other and that is very good.
Lillian is such a hard worker. We went to a blueberry farm yesterday and she worked the whole time. She may have picked more berries than I did. While Samuel picked with some interest, mainly his stomach. Lately she has been driving me cross eyed and I suspect the problem is I have too much work to do and she too little. She reminds me of a Border Collie. Nick asked me what dog that made me. I'll have to get back to him on that. Lillian made up a song this morning. I will see if I can remember some of it for you. "I like to chase my brother, He likes to run up and down the street, My dad likes to build and make stuff, my mom likes to sit in a seat...and be quiet."
Well, there you have it!

Sam, Sam, my boxin man. I recently caught Samuel and Lillian "Play" fighting like real boxers; their version anyway. Mostly Samuel was taking a lot of hits to his face, I wanted to stop the match, but he was having so much fun. That means Lillian was probably enjoying herself too much. But Samuel is such a sport, it is all part of the game, hard knocks not hard feelings. I feel it for Lillian cause she does not operate like that at all. I keep telling her she is setting the precedent for how she wants him to treat her later on...Oh My! Hopefully with Mom's encouragement he will treat females with gentleness and loving care. I am just not sure Lillian is ever going to fit into that category for him. On the other hand (Blush), at the blueberry farm yesterday I was reaching to the top of a bush grabbing berries and my shirt came up a bit, exposing my bursting belly. Well, my son turned around and pulled the front of my shirt down and patted my belly. He said something like "I will help you". What a gentleman, (If you could see my face you would roll your eyes).
Nick had trouble when he tried to get the clips to play one right after the other. But if you persevere you are sure to be pleased!
