Moving...again

If you are keeping track, this will be our 8th move in 10 years. If we had known, we would have published our own address books and would now be wealthy.

Meanwhile, life is really good...

She sits, she rolls, she...is pretty cute

Blue eyes? Verdict is still out.

Oh, my boy! Fantastic. Now that Daddy is home he is wearing t-shirts ALL the time.

Birthday Girl! She endured the ugliest cake ever baked. But it tasted yummy! Notice tooth #5 missing. Teeth 3 and 4 are still missing. We'll see who gets their teeth first.

Tea Party with Daddy and Samuel. Lillian is a delightful hostess. Her conversation is always engaging.

Anything is a toy in our house. These have been, hats, jugs for drinking from while surviving, maps, skis, bedroom slippers, pillows, and mouse house.

We are all happier when Daddy is home. Daddy is too really.

Especially when he uses his design expertise to build forts. There isn't much else to do when every thing is packed and every night is Friday night.

This is our theme picture "Redmond in Transit" . Nick thinks this may have been poor judgment naming our blog "...in transit" as it has been a self fulfilling prophecy. Although I am not sure theologically what i think about the idea of self fulfilling prophecy. Destined to be gypsies maybe?
We are considering changing the name to "rooted and staying put someplace", or "growing old in Carolina"...

Nick's new work environment.

Ok, this seems disgusting and random. We have been making bread. These are little whole wheat cinnamon crouton thingies that didn't taste too good either. Pioneering has its ups and downs; this was one of the downs.

Yummmm! Green beans and oatmeal cookies for dinner. I'm not sure how long we can last with good cop home all day.

This might be everyone's favorite part of the day. Proceeds from: Couch -$90, TV-$25, not having anything else to do but lay around and read with your kids-priceless.
